Another big, tomato people think about when they think about those big old tomatoes grandma used to grow. They carry that deep tomato flavour we all dream about in January. They’re even larger than Beefsteak tomatoes, but they are not round and have creases at the top. They are mid-season producers but the yield in numbers isn’t as great as other varieties, though they’re bigger than most big tomatoes Great for slicing onto toast or sandwiches.

his variety is a go to heirloom, with large potato-leaved leaves. It bears large pink beefsteak-shaped fruit. It's great for sandwiches and slicing into salads.

Compact and prolific, short, bushy plant that grows to 3 feet, yields huge amounts of very early producing 8-10 oz. beefsteak tomatoes in clusters. A very popular variety for shorter growing regions.

This is our only yellow determinate tomato. Meaty, sweet and mild with large fruit and more of the lycopene than a red tomato.

Very productive and vigorous. Large fruit, (14 - 16 oz.). Deeply ribbed, irregular, bright red, juicy, yet solid. Nice balance of tart and sweet. Great for slicing.

very few seeds and a mild, non-acidic mouth feel… but we’ve never grown them before so
you’ll have to take a chance along with us. God hates tomato cowards.

Looks like an Oxheart. Pink tomatoes. Very meaty but also quite juicy, small seed cavities and few seeds. Outstanding, delicious, sweet flavors.

Not really Japanese, but this multi-coloured, oblong medium-sized tom is one of the juiciest tomatoes ever. Great for fresh eating and salads, but not for sandwiches... unless you like porridge.

Lemon Boy is perfect for slicing to reveal the delicious, lemon-colored flesh. TBut they are a bit needy and require a lot of water and sun.

This yellow/orange tomato has a full tomato flavour, where a Lemon Boy is milder. It has smooth mid-sized fruit, with few seeds. Great for fresh eating but also not bad for sauces (think orange salsa).
Sauce/Paste Tomatoes

Produces 5 – 6 oz. fruit with a classic San Marzano shape, longer and less regular than other paste tomatoes. They mature at different rates but ripen well in storage, or they can be left on the vine to turn a fuller shade of red. Good resistance to various disease.

You may think we've gone overboard with the green mini tomatoes. We don't think so. This is a lovely tomato with a whole lot of sweet & tangy flavour! Fruit is 1" in diameter. They turn a little yellowy when they're ripe

BUY THIS TOMATO. I know they don't look it but they're delicious, sweet and tangy. They keep producing until the end of the season. But because they’re green when ripe you have to keep checking on maturity, mostly by touch (but you can see them turn a little tiny bit paler when they’re ready).

Okay, they’re not white; they’re light yellow, with a very mild taste. The plants are compact and relatively easy to stake and tame. Not only are they excellent walk-by snacks, they're excellent in salads.

This is one of our favourites. They had a crop failure two years ago but the ones we tested last year were back up to snuff, so our fingers are crossed for their return to greatness. Very sweet oblong.
